NYCCGC TOWN HALL MEETING Making Gardens Permanent: Long-Term Solutions SATURDAY FEBRUARY 19 2011 St. Mark’s Church In-the-Bowery 131 East 10th St NYC 10:00am - 2:00pm map & directions New York City Community Garden Coalition invites you to participate in a Town Hall Meeting focused on the movement to permanently preserve our city’s precious community gardens. Community gardeners, land use experts, and representatives from GreenThumb, City Council, and New York State Office of Community Gardens will be discussing and exploring the pros and cons of several approaches for permanent preservation currently under review in group dialogue and breakout sessions. Admission is free; refreshments will be served. |
